Being selfish is a good thing. You're the only one responsible for maintaining the well being of your own self. Other people are not putting themselves last for you, so why do you feel the need of constantly over extend yourself to others at your own expense? Being selfish is an act of self-love and self-preservation. As long as you aren't hurting others, it is your duty to always put yourself first and foremost and to upholding your best interests in life.
